In case you didn't read my most recent post where I bragged about doing nothing, during the month of March I.... Did nothing. This was partly due to being burnt out after writing every day for 67 days in a row and partially because life was busy. I'm in the process of remodeling my kitchen with Ikea cabinets that I have to put together and going on a spring break trip ...

You know what I hate? Shitty side hustles.Driving for Uber. Doing online surveys.Multilevel Marketing Pyramid Schemes.I could keep going with loads and loads of awful side hustles that you see all over the place. Huge websites in the personal finance world promote these side hustles constantly. Why? Fat commissions. Every time someone signs up to drive for Uber, the website that refers them gets $15-$45.Some survey sites pay even more than that! But ...

A couple days ago I wrote a post about how I stopped procrastinating and started pumping out more content for my websites. But after 66 days in a row of writing and putting 35,000+ words of content on my niche sites, I burned the f*&^ out. For the next month I did almost nothing on my sites. But the good part is it didn't really matter 🙂 One of the awesome things about running ...

One of the biggest challenges people face when trying to start (or grow) a side hustle is procrastination. If you've got a day job, kids, or other stuff going on, you won't have much time to work on your side hustle. This was something I struggled with for years and it wasn't until December 3, 2018, that I finally found a system that works and got me out of my procrastination ...

January is always a slow month. People go crazy in December and do all of their shopping then they usually stop in January and even return stuff. If someone buys something and I get a commission, Amazon takes that money back if the item gets returned. â€‹So here are the numbers for January:Amazon Affiliate Income - $739Merch by Amazon - $488Ezoic (ads) - $463Adsense - $3 (this is how it should work. ...

Now that I've sold my Amazon FBA business and focused all of my attention and effort on my authority websites, I'm going to try to go a little more in depth on each web property and also do a better job of tracking my expenses. It's too easy and common to see people boasting about how much money they're making with their businesses but so much of that gets eaten up ...

I got an email on Dec 20th from Jeff at TheCritterDepot.com who wanted to share his side hustle story with you. He has one of the most interesting side hustles I've come across so far.  It's not too far off from what I've done in the past (selling stuff online), but what makes it unique is that Jeff sells live animals like crickets! Go check his website out if you ...

You’ve heard it before: millennials are so lazy! While this characterization has taken many media outlets by storm, the cold, hard facts actually prove the exact opposite. Let’s be clear—as of 2018, millennials range between the ages of 22 and 37. And this past year, 33% of millennials made money outside of their full time job. With the increased cost of living, sky-high student debt, and a changing economy, who ...

I spent the last 3 months using Acorns to see how it worked and if it was worth the money (it's "free" but they charge you fees, I'll cover that later). I had read a couple reviews online but I wanted a first hand experience from someone who had used the app themselves. Since I couldn't find that, I decided to do it myself. Bottom Line - 4.5/5 Stars ProsEasy to ...

Things were busy in November. So busy that my last post was also another short income report. In the last month I completed the sale of my Amazon FBA business and have moved on to spending all of my time and effort on my websites. But since I constantly get shiny object syndrome I’ve created 2 new sites. I’ll touch on them at the end since they’re making no money ...
